WARRENTON, MO — The need has never been greater for children to hear biblical truth and recognize the Bible for what it is, even children in church. Americans’ views of the Bible have changed significantly in recent years, and the Church is not immune. According to the Barna Group, “Millennials are half as likely as seniors to believe the Bible is the true word of God and twice as likely to believe it is a book of teaching and advice created by man. » Sunday school teachers need all the help they can get to try to reverse this trend! That’s why Child Evangelism Fellowship® has launched a new training ministry aimed at providing practical help to Sunday school teachers. Called Sunday School Solutions, it’s a free series of videos and articles. available online.
“With more than 80 years of experience in children’s ministry across the United States and around the world, CEF is uniquely positioned to provide guidance that works in children’s ministry, regardless of program studies you use. We want to help you in all aspects of ministry to your children,” said Moises Esteves, vice president of international ministries.
The series includes topics like keeping kids’ attention, adding enthusiasm, teaching preschoolers, and classroom management strategies, all brought to you by people who are right alongside you in the trenches of ministry to children. Each video is less than three minutes long and can be used as part of your church’s teacher training program or viewed by individual teachers. Each video is accompanied by a blog post with even more practical tips on this topic.
As teachers improve their skills in practical areas, children will not just do their time at Sunday school. Instead, they will engage with God’s Word. They will be able to understand the importance and truth of the Scriptures and, more importantly, establish a saving relationship with Christ and grow in Him throughout their lives. Not only will the trend toward skepticism be reversed, but their lives will also be truly transformed.
