SUBJECT: The surge of Christianity (Rhapsody of realities August 12, 2023)
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the pagans; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).
Rhapsody of today’s realities MESSAGE:
The ultimate message and vision of Christianity is “Christ in you!” » Yet, not all Christians have fully grasped this reality; some are unaware of what Christianity actually entails because they do not have a comprehensive understanding of it.
Without being taught the Word of God and enlightened by the Scriptures by the Spirit, one cannot fully understand the essence of Christianity. Many perceive it simply as one of the world religions, but they are sadly mistaken.
Christianity is far removed from conventional definitions of religion. In truth, the Bible explains that Christianity incorporates some aspects of religion, but is not itself a religion. It’s like prayer for example; there is a prayer in Christianity, but Christianity is not “a prayer.”
Let us also consider salvation: Salvation comes when one is born in Christ. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation…” When we witness and share the gospel with and lead those who have not yet known the Lord at salvation, they enter into Christ and receive eternal life. But Christianity goes further and consists of living the life initiated by salvation.
So, salvation brings you in Christ, which is “you in Christ,” but the Christian life is “Christ in you.” This is the central idea of Christianity. When you truly discover Christ dwelling in you, you live a glorious life, fulfilling God’s purpose. The moment you discover the presence of Christ within you, your life becomes a melody, a symphony of joy. This is not a simple ideology but a tangible reality.
The true essence of Christianity lies in the understanding that it is not simply a religion but a divine relationship with the Father through Christ Jesus. This is one of the reasons why you must take your study of the “Rhapsody of Realities” seriously; in him you can receive the illumination necessary to grasp this profound reality that Christ now dwells in you, deep in your heart.
PRAY
Dear Father, I thank you for the revelation of this glorious reality and this profound truth that Christ dwells in me. I am ever aware of this reality, permeating and penetrating my world with the same truth, and introducing many into the same life of endless joy and victory, in Jesus Name. Amen.
A FURTHER STUDY:
Romans 8:10 (NKJV); And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
Galatians 2:20 (KJV); I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; but it is not I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Colossians 1:26-27; 26 Even the mystery which has been hid from time immemorial and from generation to generation, but is now made manifest to his saints: 27 to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
